Live Music Series: Eighty-Sixed, Kid

Our sweetest boy, Daniel Palmentera, will be serenading us with covers and original tunes on this lovely Sunday afternoon on July 28th. As the Burning River racers complete their journeys, the music of Eighty-Sixed, Kid will fill the air and help guide them across the finish line.

Danny has been performing, writing and recording music for over 20 years. He is dedicated to his craft and we think he is pretty darn good at it, too. (You can also catch him at The Zephyr Pub in Kent every Thursday evening throughout the month of July)

Hike w/ HiHO: Wild Birds Edition

Join us for the July Bird Watching edition of Hike with HiHO and our friends from Wild Birds Unlimited. Gear up for an easy 2 mile trail that is partially paved but might have a few muddy spots so wear good hiking shoes. Hikers and bird watchers are welcome to bring your binoculars and any questions you might have about local birds, bird identification, and more! See you at the Trailhead: 1088 North Ave. Tallmadge, OH 44278. At Tallmadge Meadows, Bathrooms are available at the Trailhead and water and sunscreen are suggested.

This month we'll be exploring the Celebration Trail! On this hike, youโ€™ll observe the newly renovated historic barn, witness a restored section of the Cuyahoga River and enjoy the breathtaking vistas Valley View offers. Stroll the path and watch as site work continues!

Hike with HiHO is a great way to make new friends who love nature and craft beer! No RSVP is required.

After the hike, attendees will get $1 OFF their first pint at HiHO Brewing Co.

Great Outdoors Experience 2024

For the 4th year, we are joining forces with other DTCF businesses for The Great Outdoor Experience!

The Great Outdoors Experience, is the epic summer event. You'll join us for a morning of yoga | hiking | floating and drinks.
- The adventure starts at 8am with a 45-minute any levels yoga class hosted at Falls Outdoor Company.
- After yoga we'll drop our yoga mats off to our cars and take a short walk down to the High Bridge Glens Trail for a 2 mile | 45-minute walk | hike on the Glens Trail next door.
- After hitting the trail we'll come back swap out our clothes and gear and board the Float the River bus, so we can head down the Cuyahoga. Tubing down the river with your friends, this chill experience can take up to 2 hours.
Our adventure wraps up at HiHO Brewing Co. for a tasty brew.
Food is available if you decide to stay for lunch.

Tickets are $55 and include:
yoga, hiking, floating and a PINT of HiHO Beer!
Here's a quick schedule breakdown:
YOGA at Falls Outdoor Co. with Harvest Yoga: 8:15am
HIKING on the Summit Metro Parks Glens Trail: 9:00am
BUS PICK UP with Float the River: 10am - Float from 10:30 - 12:30pm
HiHO BREWING CO. HAPPY HOUR: directly after our float

PLEASE READ:
* It's highly recommended everyone wear their tubing clothes to yoga + hike.
* There is not private area to change clothes or bathrooms. You'll have time to go back to your clothes between activities to grab supplies or to quick change.
* Other items to bring: a yoga mat, walking | hiking shoes and water.
* To float the river, you'll need to wear your bathing suit and water shoes.

Join HiHO Brewing Co. and Yoga Lounge & Barre in raising awareness for the Alzheimer's Association with an outdoor Yoga class! All ticket proceeds will be donated to the cause.

This class will take place at the High Bridge Glens Park (1817 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221) located on Front Street in Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Wednesday June 12th at 6pm.

Each attendee will get an hour long yoga session and one HiHO Pint of BEER of your choice in our taproom after class!

Hike with HiHO is back for another exciting season of hiking and exploring our local metro parks! We'll be hiking the Gorge to kick off the hiking series on May 29th at 6:00 PM. On this hike, youโ€™ll observe stunning rock-ledge formations and walk a primitive, rugged terrain. This moderately challenging route is very popular for hiking, running and bird watching!

Earth Day Clean Up 2024

Join us for an Earth Day Birthday celebration on Sunday, April 21st, where we commemorate the beauty of our planet and its importance in our lives!

This year, we have three ways you can get involved to honor Mother Earth and promote sustainability in our community:

11:00 AM - NOON: Gorge Metro Park Clean Up

Join HiHO Brewing Co. for our annual Earth Day Gorge Metro Park Clean Up! Afterward, join us in the taproom NOON-7:00 PM for $1 OFF your first pint of beer as a thank you for helping keep our beautiful metro parks clean! When you arrive at the Gorge, pick up an empty grain bag and gloves to collect trash. Please bring gloves to the clean-up event if you have them. Gardening and dishwashing gloves work well! Be sure to follow all safety protocols for the Summit Metro Parks and remain on the trail at all times. Trash must be placed in the receptacle at the Gorge after the clean-up.

NOON-5:00 PM: Sustainability Info Sharing at HiHO Brewing Co.

Swing by the taproom and learn how you can help your community and live a more sustainable lifestyle with:

-Let's Grow Akron (produce for sale and compost cooperative!)
-Conservation on the Cuyahoga (water quality assessment research on the Cuyahoga)
-City of Cuyahoga Falls (city-wide resources and information)!

Information about the Gorge Dam removal will also be available.

1:00 PM: Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Clean Up

Lend a helping hand to keep Downtown Cuyahoga Falls clean! HiHO will be orchestrating a cleanup initiative from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Front St. Please bring gloves to the clean-up event if you have them. Gardening and dishwashing gloves work well! DORA cups are permitted during the cleanup, so stop into the taproom, grab a beer, and help clean up the downtown area! Participants get $1 OFF their first pint of beer as a thank you for helping to keep our city clean!

The City of Cuyahoga Falls will provide trash grabbers for both clean-up events!

Let's work together to make our city and the world a cleaner place to enjoy!

We are EX-STREAM-LY excited to celebrate World Water Day and the resurgence of clean water on the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie!

Join us at HiHO Brewing Co. for information on how to get out and safely enjoy your time on the water this season! There will be updates on the Cuyahoga River Water Trail, Ohio's 13th officially designated water trail, information to share on new access points along the river for paddlers, maps, giveaways, and more including updates about the Gorge Dam Removal!

The Cuyahoga River is important to lots of local folks! Find additional information from Summit Metro Parks, The National Park Service, Burning River Adventures, Float the River, and Share the River to learn how YOU can get out and have fun on the Cuyahoga River this year!
