HiHO Brewing Co. would not be what it is without this cast of misfits that make up its staff. A dedicated team of craft beer enthusiasts, brick oven pizza fanatics, and passionate creatives who thrive on delivering great experiences to everyone who walks through the door. From brewing to serving, they pour their hearts into every pint and every slice, making HiHO Brewing Co. a place of community, flavor, and fun.

Ali Hovan
The original βBossy Ladyβ herself. Ali is our fearless leader and a veritable Swiss Army human. When she isnβt taking care of her two girls, you can find Ali managing a laundry list of tasks with a vision of constantly improving HiHO. Thereβs no job inside or outside of the brewery that she canβt handle. Contact Ali for all of your HiHO related business needs.
-

Jon Hovan
Jon is our head brewer and one of the brains behind HiHOβs wide spectrum of beer offerings. He developed a passion for craft beer and has always focused on a quality-first approach when it comes to brewing his own. Jon takes the time to educate the staff on all things beer and has the ability to break down complex brewing processes for anyone to understand. Reach out to Jon for any Brewhouse inquiries.
-

Brooks
Brooks is an experienced brewer with a passion for overallsβ¦Or lagering. One of those. One thing is for sure, this guy has a last name for a first name. You might only ever see Brooks at HiHO if you show up before we open to the public, most of us havenβt seen him in months. He basically keeps vampire hours.
-

Amber
What doesnβt Amber do? Our Taproom & Community Coordinator, Bartender, and everything in between. As the lead of our Pints & Pages book club, Amber has helped so many of us find joy in reading together. She is one of the best of us and we are lucky that she is here taking care of all of us. Want to order a keg for your home kegerator or party? Email Amber here.
-

Sarah
Sarah has so many skills that fit perfectly for her variety of roles she fills at HiHO. She is our Kitchen Prep and Inventory Manager. She is constantly developing fresh, seasonal menu items in our kitchen and seamlessly managing the cast of personalities throughout the taproom. Sarah is the type of leader you would run through a brick wall for, because she would do it with you.
-

Amber
Amber joined the team a couple years ago and fit in seamlessly from day one. If you have ever been to HiHO, youβve definitely seen her behind the bar. She wears many hats around here - our Events Coordinator, full time bartender, a vital part of our marketing team, and her personal favorite role: making silly little videos with her coworkers. She can take a joke, which is a good quality to have when you work with a bunch of high class jokesters. We are lucky to have her energy, creativity and behind-the-scenes magic helping keep everything running (and entertaining). If you want to plan a party at HiHO, email Amber here.
-

Doug
We donβt even really know where Doug came from. He had his wedding reception here and he refused to leave so we handed him a mop. Doug knows a lot about beer, a shocking amount really, so if you have questions about IPAs, lagers and everything else, heβs your guy.
-

Micah
Did you know that Micah was the realtor who found the building that is now our brewery for Ali and Jon? Did you also know that Micah Watts sells homes? Micah is always in a good mood in the taproom during every shift he works. Most importantly, Micah Watts Sells Homes.
-

J.J.
J.J. is our passionate and inventive Kitchen Lead. J.J. stands for βJumpinβ Jahosephet,β because thatβs what people yell when they see his wicked pickleball serve in action for the first time. The guy is ruthless on the court, but one of the friendliest faces you will come across here at HiHO.
-

Zacharia
OK, look, we all know Zach can draw. He illustrates a comic book that he writes with his best friends and he creates βHollywood Squaresβ that surely plenty of you own. Did you know he is color blind? Probably, but we still think thatβs pretty interesting.
-

Jamie
Jamie has a dog named Syn (see photo above). She is also an avid fiber artist and the lead of our Sip & Stitch group that meets at HiHO once a month. You might even say sheβs βhookedβ on yarn. Jamie likes to unwind with a nice sour ale at the end of the day.
-

Eman
You know itβs going to be a great day when Eman brings in some baked goods. Even if there arenβt baked goods, when Eman is in the house, your day is automatically 5-10% better. Itβs science.
-

Daniel
You have heard Dannyβs music in the taproom or at some other fine establishment in the area. And if you havenβt, itβs right here. He is dedicated to his craft and as hard-working as they come.
-

Danielle
Danielle is a gifted florist and one of the weirdest weirdos that works behind the bar at HiHO. You have to expect the unexpected when sheβs around. She brings a sort of tomfoolery to each shift that we all benefit from.
-

Luke
Here is a photo of Luke in a bathrobe. We had to ask him to hold it closed, because it actually looked more off-putting with it open. Luke possesses no apparent sense of style, however he is a pretty smart guy that knows a lot of stuff about a lot of different stuff. Go ahead, ask him anything.
-

Ben
Benβs hair holds all the secrets of the known world. When you forget your password, itβs Benβs hair that retrieves it for you. Trigonometry? Benβs hair has got you (and him) covered. Ben has a long history of creating art on canvases and with music. He also has the singing voice of 100 baby angels and he uses that to serenade us at karaoke.
-

Mike
Mike is a guy with a mustache and heβs an OK bartender. Heβs passionate about a lot of things: Coffee (he will most likely judge the kind you drink), movies and music, his beautiful and perfect wife, Jessie. He loves photography and took all of these photos. Thanks Mike, youβre a great photographer and an OK bartender.
-Jessie -

Lythande
Itβs pronounced like βLeBronβ. If you canβt tell by her name, Lythande is whimsical. She is intensely friendly and perpetually cheerful. Sheβll remember your drink, your dogβs name, and probably your birthday. Serving with the energy of a golden retriever and the precision of a scientist, she somehow makes bartending look effortless.
-

Rachel
Rachelβs the kind of person who gets things done before you even realized they needed doing. She gets the job done with a calm confidence that makes everything run smoother. She can handle chaos without blinking and still find time to laugh at our terrible jokes. And there are a lot of them. Basically, weβre all just trying to keep up.
-

Cole
Nobodyβs entirely sure what dimension Cole came from, but weβre glad he landed here. He might deliver to you one of our huge salads or a deep philosophical theory about squirrelsβ¦sometimes both in the same encounter. Absolutely irreplaceable, definitely a little weird.
-

John
John is always in a good mood, itβs an enviable trait. He brings a great energy to every shift, like a human espresso shot, but way more fun and less bitter. Having him around makes the busiest days run smoother and keeps the rest of us in high spirits. Weβre pretty sure heβs got a smile thatβs powered by magic.
-

Mark
Mark either currently is or was a DJ once. He wonβt tell us. He did bring a suspicious amount of DJ equipment to our holiday party though. Markβs been in the kitchen so long, we're pretty sure he built the pizza oven. He communicates exclusively in sighs, longing looks, and brewery pretzels.
-

Jose
We have tried on many occasions to get rid of Jose, but he keeps returning. Heβs like a human boomerang, but not at all Australian. Honestly, things are a lot better when we have Jose around to help out. He is not afraid to get his hands dirty and is always happy to help in any way imaginable.
-

Kirk
Like most of us, Kirk was a loyal customer for many years before coming on board. If youβre wondering how to get HiHO Brewing Co. beer at your bar or restaurant, Kirk is your guy. He is in charge of our Sales and Distribution here and would love to expand our reach, so please reach out to Kirk and see what he can do to bring our beer into your space.
-

George
George does so much around the taproom each week and yet most of us donβt ever see him. We like to call his specific area of expertise βCharlie Workβ. George has a history of repairing cars and apparently other machines as well. Truly, he is a do-it-all - even if he has to learn it on the spot - maintenance maestro.
-

Brenna
One day Brenna tried to order pizza and beer, but we handed her a bar rag instead. She didnβt take offense. She just hopped behind the bar and got to work. Nothing really seems to ruffle her feathers and that really helps to navigate the many responsibilities of being a bartender at HiHO.
